Jennifer Tilly was born at Los Angeles, California on September 16th 1958. The conditions were deplorable. Her mother was a teacher and failed actor, and her father was a salesman for cars. Jennifer being the 2nd daughter of four attended theater performances by her mother, and was amazed. Jennifer's parents separated when she was 5 years old. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth within British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four kids. Jennifer did not have an excellent education, despite being a gifted kid. In Canada she was the victim of bullying frequently. In the years that her interest in theatre waned, she began acting in theatre plays to help her mom. She encouraged her kids to become passionate about the arts. She then immediately started acting.
